Christopher M. Burke is a partner with Varela, Lee, Metz & Guarino, LLP, a law firm dedicated to construction law with offices in Tysons Corner, VA and San Francisco, CA. Chris’s practice focuses exclusively on the construction and engineering industry and he has litigated cases across the United States and around the world, including disputes in Central America, Asia, and South America. Chris represents contractors, engineers, owners, developers, and design professionals on both public and private contracts, from project inception through dispute resolution. He has substantial experience in international arbitration and has arbitrated multiple cases before the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce, including one with amounts in dispute of over $1 billion. Chris has been recognized as a leader in the construction law field by Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500 United States, Who’s Who Legal, and Super Lawyers. He graduated cum laude from Yale University and earned his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
